    General Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in related field. Two years of direct work experience or work experience in a related field. Prefer experience in higher education and specialized work. Knowledge or familiarity with admissions, especially for graduate or medical school. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

    Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:

    Works closely with the Associate Director of Admissions & Recruitment for the College of Osteopathic Medicine to plan and coordinate interview day and other internal prospective medical student recruitment events. The scope of work includes communications with medical school applicants, daily administrative tasks related to admissions and pre-matriculation, and state-wide travel for in-person recruitment fairs and events.

    Primary Responsibilities (Staff Positions Only):

    Represents the College of Osteopathic Medicine at in-person and virtual regional/national pre-health, science, osteopathic medicine conferences, and recruitment events. Responsible for the coordination of admissions-related processes and events. Assists with the planning and implementation of COM Interview Days and the Second Look event. Responds to inquiries from prospective students, processes applications, screens applicants for interviews, coordinates campus visits and tours, and occasionally represents the college at recruitment events. Serves as a point of contact for the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Admissions. Monitors project timelines and identifies areas of improvement for COM enrollment cycles. Orders and maintains supply inventory for COM Admissions. Coordinates and implements departmental processes for the COM Enrollment Services team. Performs other duties as assigned.
