Are you passionate about building scaling platforms to power millions of smart TVs from leading brands such as TCL, Hisense, Amazon, Xiaomi, and Panasonic? Amazon's Fire TV organization is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Product Management to lead our Reference Solutions team.

Key job responsibilities
1. Lead a team of product managers distributed across Sunnyvale, Arlington (HQ2) and Seattle
2. Own the strategy and roadmap for Fire TV's smart TV reference solutions, including:
- product definition by tier and country
- engagement models for product codevelopment
- system-on-chip partnerships
- performance and end-user satisfaction metrics
- remote controls
3. Work closely with engineering leadership in Sunnyvale to deliver high-quality solutions
4. Drive operational excellence in reference solution development and deployment
5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, such as TCL, Hisense, Xiaomi, and Panasonic, as well as Amazon's own brand of smart TVs
6. Mentor and grow product management talent within the organization
7. Serve as an example of Amazon's Day 1 culture both for your site and across the global organization
A day in the life
- Define and execute the long-term vision for Fire TV's smart TV reference solutions
- Drive improvements in partner experience and operational efficiency
- Lead cross-functional initiatives spanning teams around our development sites in Seattle, Sunnyvale, and London
- Represent the reference solutions organization in senior leadership forums
- Build and maintain relationships with your stakeholders in key TV manufacturing partners
- Establish metrics and drive continuous improvement in reference solution adoption and effectiveness

Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in product management or technical product management
- 5+ years of experience leading product managers
- Experience managing distributed teams across multiple geographies
- Track record of delivering complex enterprise software solutions
- Strong technical background with understanding of operating systems and embedded systems
- Excellence in stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree in technical field
- Experience with smart TV or consumer electronics ecosystem
- Background in B2B platform products
- Experience working with international manufacturing partners
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $179,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $309,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
