    Summary:

    We are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as Strategic Account Manager to support sales enablement of EssilorLuxottica (EL) Wholesales Channels.In this role they will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing sales and channel marketing strategy to support EssilorLuxottica efforts to drive sales and category penetration for wearables products in its Optical Channels. They will also report internally on business performance and advocate for investments and initiatives to support growth ambitions.This is a cross functional role directly in contact with Partner sales leaders and marketing teams as well as Meta cross functional teams including Category Management, Product Management, Business Development, Data Science, Channel Marketing, and Sales Operations.This role reports to the Director of Sales Enablement for EssilorLuxottica Channels and requires the capacity to travel both nationally and internationally.

    Required Skills:

    Strategic Account Manager, EssilorLuxottica Wholesale Channels Responsibilities:

    1. In partnership with EssilorLuxottica define and execute an annual business plan for each geography

    2. Establish and manage quarterly business reviews with key EL and Meta leaders to review performance and agree on business priorities

    3. Maintain detailed understanding of wholesale business performance/trends in the different geographies and actively reports within the larger Wearable Sales Group

    4. Create and present geography/market strategy to executives and internal / external stakeholders to align resources and drive growth

    5. Negotiate and manage Marketing Development Funds budgets in partnership with category management and marketing to support growth opportunities with EL Retail banners

    6. Negotiate with EL Wholesale Wearable business leaders specific programs to support year goals and present them internally to gain alignment and approvals cross functional partners (finance, marketing, legal, operations, etc)

    7. Leverage Meta internal resources such as Consumer Experience, Integrated Marketing, DRM to provide EL with insight on consumer behaviors, market evolution, product roadmaps to drive category relevance and growth

    8. Support NPI launch and End of Life strategies at EL Banner level to maximize sales opportunities

    9. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Optical channels and products, providing guidance to EL partners and internal cross-functional teams

    10. Participate in key meetings and events as required

    Minimum Qualifications:

    11. BA/BS in Business or Marketing-related field or similar work experience

    12. 5+ years of experience in sales or marketing role, with a focus on business planning, tactical execution, and team management

    13. Experience communicating and partnering in a cross-functional capacity

    14. 5+ years experience working in the Optical industry in eyewear distribution

    15. Capacity to work effectively with various teams across the organization, essential to be adaptive and collaborative

    16. Experience with business planning and tactical execution, with a clear understanding of the various tools available to drive retail sales

    17. Experience in go-to-market planning and execution in traditional retail channels

    18. Experience in channel marketing/category management

    Public Compensation:

    $159,000/year to $223,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
