The Senior Staff Quality Assurance Engineer will bring extensive QA experience in test planning, execution, defect management. Proficient with test automation tools/frameworks to create automated test suites. Strong grasp of testing methodologies including regression, integration and performance. Programming expertise to write/maintain test scripts. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for test automation. Skilled in bug tracking/management. Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Job Functions:
+ Develop and implement test strategies and plans for software products, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
+ Lead the design and development of automated test scripts and frameworks to increase testing efficiency.
+ Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects.
+ Define and track quality metrics to measure product quality and identify areas for improvement.
+ Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure high-quality software delivery.
+ Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test data, and test reports.
+ Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance the overall quality of the software.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
+ 7 years of experience in software quality assurance, including test planning and execution.
+ Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
+ Relevant certifications in quality assurance or testing.
+ Strong knowledge of software development and testing lifecycles.
+ Experience with performance testing and profiling tools.
+ Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
+ Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a QA team.
+ Experience with testing mobile applications and web services.
