    This position is located in St. Paul and may work a hybrid schedule or work in the office pursuant to policy requirements. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.

     

    This position manages and provides executive strategic leadership to MnDOT’s senior management in the business organization, planning, development, and management of the agency’s programs and services.** **The incumbent is responsible for the management and integration of administration, human resources, financial, and information resources needed to support the development and delivery of the state’s transportation system.** **The position provides support in developing, implementing, and managing the agency’s policies and strategies and acts on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team to ensure consistent business practices throughout the agency.

     

    Occasional in-state travel is required approximately 5% of the time.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Two years of managerial experience OR three years of professional supervisory experience OR four years of advanced professional experience that demonstrates the following:

    + **Experience researching and analyzing financial, policy, and legislative information.**

    + **Experience writing technical and business documentation and communication for end users.**

    + **Experience applying standards and best practices for internal controls.**
