    Our client, a leader in international trade and logistics, is seeking a Data Entry / Import-Export Clerk to join their team. As a Data Entry / Import-Export Clerk, you will be part of the operations team supporting various aspects of import and export documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Import-Export Clerk

    **Location:** Mcallen, TX

    **Pay Range:** $15 – $18 per hour (Depending on experience)

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Data entry of Customs Form 7501 (Entry Summary) and 3461 (Entry/Immediate Delivery)

    + Process and cancel in-bond shipments

    + Coordinate and communicate with customs brokers for accurate and timely filings

    + Create and manage consumption entries for goods entering the U.S. for domestic use

    + Prepare and submit Shipper's Export Declarations (SEDs) or Electronic Export Information (EEI) through AESDirect

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Experience with customs documentation or import/export procedures

    + Strong data entry skills and attention to detail

    + Familiarity with CBP forms 7501 and 3461

    + Knowledge of in-bond processes, consumption entries, and export regulations

    + Ability to work independently and handle sensitive documentation accurately
