Salary: $20 / Hour

Amergis Staffing is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide high-quality care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have opportunities available in the school setting throughout Orange County.

Work Setting: Schools

Schedule: Monday-Friday (hours vary between 7:30am-4pm)

Compensation: $20+/hour

Start Date: August 2025

Qualifications

+ Minimum one year of experience as a Caregiver or DSP

+ Comfortable working with ages TK-High School

Key Responsibilities

+ Personal Care Assistance – Support individuals with toileting, diapering and overall hygiene

+ Mobility Assistance – Provide help with moving in and out of desk, wheelchairs, and bathrooms

+ Activity Engagement – Encourage participation in classroom, crafts, entertainment, and community events

+ Direct Support – Carry out additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors or nursing staff
