A growing pharmaceutical manufacturer in **Carlsbad, CA** is seeking a **Packaging & Logistics Engineer** to oversee the shipment, handling, and cold chain management of drug product materials — including APIs, excipients, bulk substances, and finished goods. This is an **onsite** role requiring strong coordination with cross-functional teams, external partners, and strict adherence to **GMP compliance standards** .

What You’ll Do:

+ Manage shipment and receipt of APIs, components, test samples, and finished products

+ Coordinate with internal teams and external carriers for timely, compliant deliveries

+ Handle **cold chain logistics** using tools like **TempTales** and **Active Shippers**

+ Maintain detailed shipment records and temperature tracking

+ Draft SOPs and logistics documentation aligned with **FDA/cGMP requirements**

+ Support logistics-related projects and tasks as assigned by the manager

Must-Have Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of **logistics or packaging experience** in **pharma, biotech, or regulated industries**

+ Experience with **cold chain and international shipping**

+ Familiarity with **ERP systems** (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and shipping/tracking software

+ Strong attention to **documentation, SOPs** , and **cGMP practices**

+ Proven ability to manage shipments independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

+ Bachelor’s degree in **Life Sciences** or related field

+ Familiarity with **shipping validation studies**

+ Experience working with APIs, bulk drug materials, or finished drug products
