Description We are looking for an entry-level Financial Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in New York, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting financial operations, with a focus on data analysis, schedule updates, and mid-year closing tasks. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with mid-year financial closing tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Analyze and review large datasets using advanced Excel functions to identify trends and discrepancies.

• Update financial schedules based on prior months’ data and ensure all records are current.

• Conduct detailed reviews of financial documents to ensure compliance and precision.

• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as assigned.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

• Utilize QuickBooks to support financial tracking and reporting.

• Maintain organized and accurate documentation for all assigned projects. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a financial analysis or related role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and complex formulas.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large volumes of data.

• Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Solid understanding of financial principles and processes.

• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
