Job Description Summary:
The Advisor, Value Based Contract Operations is charged with the daily management of value-based contracts for OhioHealth and the OhioHealth Clinically Integrated Network. This includes the OhioHealth Clinically Integrated Network (CIN) Medicare Advantage and Commercial contracts, OhioHealth Venture Medicare Shared Savings Program Accountable Care Organization (ACO), CMS Bundled Payments for Care Improvement initiative, CMS Radiation Oncology Model, Medicaid contracts, and other initiatives as they arise.
Responsibilities And Duties:
70%: Participation in initiating, planning and leading multiple teams to describe and improve value-based contract / program performance by:
Distilling value-based contract terms and programs into actionable, measurable targets
Coordinating activities to propose goals and activities to improve performance across all programs and contracts.
Developing processes for articulating goals, tracking performance and projecting impact on programs and contracts are sustainable, repeatable, and transparent.
Develops, coordinates, evaluates, or implements program performance continuous improvement initiatives
May direct data collection, analyses, and interpretation of analyses for program planning purposes
Engage stakeholders to improve clinical care processes
Promotes working relationships with other interdependent OhioHealth departments
Participates in strategic planning
Works collaboratively with leadership to achieve organizational goals
20%: Leadership
Works with direct report(s), if applicable, to develop and execute accountabilities and goals for professional development
Promotes department and system-wide diversity and inclusion goals and initiatives
Facilitates environment of servant leadership and customer service
Plans and directs project management activities in coordination with other OhioHealth departments.
Actively participates in team activities such as Gemba walks.
10%: Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial program knowledge
Analyze and communicate relevant policy updates in the value-based payer space, including Medicare, commercial and Medicaid.
Demonstrate how program and policy changes would impact OhioHealth CIN day-to-day operations and performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
