Position Summary

Jet Aviation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Automation Specialist to join our IT team in Florida. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support and maintain existing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions using Automation Anywhere, while contributing to the development of new automation initiatives under the guidance of a Senior Automation Specialist. The ideal candidate will act as a Business Analyst, collaborating with process owners to capture requirements, evaluate feasibility, and propose solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong interest in both technology and business processes, who is eager to grow into a Business Analyst role while contributing to automation initiatives in the aviation services domain.

This role is an office-based position, on a hybrid schedule, working at least four times weekly from the office. Our selected candidate will work from our location in West Palm Beach, FL. The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this exempt position will be as follows: $80,000 - $90,000 plus a performance-based bonus up to 10% of annual salary.

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

+ Strong interest in both technology and business processes, with a desire to grow into a Business Analyst role.

+ Exposure to tools or platforms using a visual “drag-and-drop” or block-based logic interface (e.g., Automation Anywhere, UiPath) is a strong plus.

+ Naturally curious and eager to understand how things work, with a solution-oriented mindset.

+ Comfortable stepping out of your comfort zone and exploring unfamiliar topics.

+ Ability to question assumptions and dig deeper when needed.

Main Responsibilities

+ RPA Maintenance and Support:

+ Monitor, and maintain, existing RPA solutions to ensure maximum availability and reliability.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues in collaboration with IT teams and business users.

+ Perform regular updates and optimizations to improve automation performance.

+ Development of New Automations:

+ Assist in designing and developing new RPA solutions using Automation Anywhere.

+ Collaborate with the Senior Automation Specialist to implement innovative automation strategies.

+ Business Analysis and Collaboration:

+ Liaise with process owners to gather, clarify, and document requirements for automation projects.

+ Evaluate the feasibility of proposed solutions and recommend improvements.

+ Act as a trusted point of contact for business departments, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business needs

+ Continuous Learning and Growth:

+ Stay updated on RPA technologies and best practices.

+ Learn from senior team members across technical and functional areas to expand your expertise.
