    Compensation: Piece Rate – $15.00 per meter (20+ meters per day expected)

     

    Project Duration: 2 Years (129,000 meters scheduled for replacement)

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Install, replace, and maintain residential and commercial water meters

    + Accurately record and report meter data using handheld devices

    + Troubleshoot meter-related issues and ensure correct readings

    + Maintain clear, detailed records of installations and repairs

    + Follow safety procedures and comply with utility regulations

    + Interact professionally with customers

    Training Provided:

    Don’t worry if you haven’t installed a meter before. We provide comprehensive paid training (3 to 5 days). If you bring a strong work ethic, we’ll help you gain the skills you need to succeed quickly and maximize your earnings.

    Qualifications:

    + Prior water meter or plumbing experience is helpful, but not required

    + Comfort using hand tools and working outdoors

    + Ability to work independently and meet daily goals

    + Valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle is required to perform this job (trucks preferred; cars acceptable)

    + Physically capable of lifting, kneeling, and working in meter pits

    Work Conditions:

    + Field-based role throughout the Sarasota area

    + Outdoor work in all weather conditions

    + Flexible scheduling for high performers

    + Meter pits have been professionally vacuumed for cleaner installation access

    Pay Structure:

    + $15 per meter installed

    + 20+ meters per day expected once trained

    + Paid training at hourly rate

    + Weekly pay via direct deposit
