Description

Robert Half is seeking a barred attorney with at least 2 years of experience as an attorney in the corporate and M& A practice area managing complex domestic and cross-border M& A transactions from inception to closing (including due diligence, negotiation, documentation, and post-closing integration) to assist our client with an ongoing legal research initiative.

Project information:

+ Start: July 2025

+ Duration: 5 months with possibility of extension

+ Pay: $40/hour

+ Location: Remote

+ Hours: 15-20 hours per week

Responsibilities include:

Our client is looking for an attorney to research, draft, and edit annotated corporate and M& A form agreements, checklists and clauses or other needed content on corporate and M& A research and identify practical guidance articles on current awareness related to corporate and M& A matters.

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Law degree from an accredited law school

+ Member, in good standing, of any U.S. State Bar

+ At least 2 years of experience as an attorney in the corporate and M& A practice area

+ Substantive experience in corporate transactions, including mergers, asset and equity transactions, and substantive experience in drafting, negotiating, and reviewing documentation for same

+ Excellent editing and writing skills

+ Excellent legal research skills

+ Ability to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines

+ Ability to accept feedback on writing and revise accordingly

+ Organized and self-motivated

+ Comfortable working in Microsoft Word and Excel
