    1st Shift Yard Spotter/Warehouse Material Handler Louisa Foods is looking for a qualified Yard Spotter / Warehouse Material Handler-Forklift Operator

     

    The hours are 6:00am to 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, some Saturdays. Starting wage is $24.00 per hour with possibility for increase at 3 months, 6 months and 1 year. After 1 year, employee is eligible for our Semi-Annual Bonus Program.

     

    + Must have CDL A license and a clean driving record.

    + Safely move trailers to/from loading docks and designated parking areas.

    + Perform all required safety checks including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations.

    + Ensure that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured at all times.

    + Perform general housekeeping duties in the tractor and loading dock area, keeping trailers clear and clean as required.

    + At the end of the shift, secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.

    + Report all safety issues and repairs required immediately.

    + Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.

    + Other duties as needed by management.

    + Receiving, storage, handling, and shipping a variety of products and ingredients.

    + Supply Production Department with required materials/ingredients.

    + Must maintain neat/clean storage areas where assigned.

    + Job location may shift from dry goods storage to cooler to freezer storage.

    + Must be prepared to be assigned and work in all areas of shipping/receiving/warehousing.

    + It's very important to complete paperwork correctly in this position. Must be able to write and communicate in English.

    + Some overtime may be required on short notice.

    + It is very important for this position to be aware of teamwork.
