    Job Descriptions:

    Job Description: Sigmatech is seeking enthusiastic, well-qualified Systems Requirements Planners/Technical Support Specialists to consult with Government, Faculty, and Staff customers to evaluate functional requirements and translate functional requirements into technical solutions in support of mission objectives. Job responsibilities for this position include:

     

    + Relate with National Security Space Institute (NSSI) users (internal and externally), regarding wide variety of software solutions and organizational management of content.

    + Understanding of existing software (both internal websites and Microsoft Office365) with ability to identify, design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software, especially during difficult circumstances, providing just-in-time support.

    + Support NSSI efforts, managing multiple Microsoft O365 software solutions across: Teams, SharePoint Online/Teams, SharePoint Online, Forms, Lists, Planner, and PowerAutomate.

    + Utilized Information Technology (IT) industry expertise in Agile processes to work collaboratively with and support the web/development team, streamlining software solutions, user acceptance testing, quality assurance and troubleshooting across internal web applications: NSSI Control Center (e.g. Mobile Education Team Requests, Upcoming Classes), Toolkit (e.g. Course Management), Government Purchase Card, NSSI Public Center, and NSSI Knowledge Center/ Student Center.

    Required Experience:

    Skills:

    + Skill in conducting capabilities and requirements analysis.

    + Skill in conducting research for troubleshooting novel client-level problems.

    + Skill in identifying possible causes of degradation of system performance or availability and initiating actions needed to mitigate this degradation.

    + Skill in configuring and validating network workstations and peripherals in accordance with approved standards and/or specifications.

    Knowledge:

    + Knowledge of Microsoft 365/Department of the Air Force 365 (DAF365)

    + Knowledge of risk management processes (e.g., methods for assessing and mitigating risk).

    + Knowledge of national and international laws, regulations, policies, and ethics as they relate to cybersecurity.

    + Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.

    + Knowledge of system life cycle management principles, including software security and usability.

    + Knowledge of the organization’s enterprise IT goals and objectives.

    + Knowledge of capabilities and requirements analysis.

    + Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.

    + Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation).

    + Knowledge of information security systems engineering principles.

    + Knowledge of specific operational impacts of cybersecurity lapses.

    + Knowledge of cloud computing service models Software as Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).

    + Knowledge of cloud computing deployment models in private, public, and hybrid environments and the difference between on-premises and off-premises environments.

    + Knowledge of applicable business processes and operations of customer organizations.

    + Ability to interpret and translate customer requirements into operational capabilities.

     

    Top Secret (SCI eligible) required

     

    Compliance Per DoD 8140 Qualification Matrix: Intermediate Proficiency Level

     

    Education: A BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an Accredited Board for Engineering and Technology accredited or Centers of Academic Excellence designated institution. Bachelor's Degree in related field (Master's preferred). 5+ years’ experience desired.

     

    Personnel Certification: FITSP-M or GSEC or CCSP or CFR or SSCP or Security+/GFACT or CND; Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator; Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: . NET Framework 3.5, Windows Workflow Fnd Applications (MCTS); Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA); Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)

     

    Current Secret Clearance Required

     

    In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $75,000 to $90,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location, and often contractual requirements.
