    CNC Lathe Set Up Operator

    Responsibilities:

    + Ability to set up and run CNC Lathe (Doosan Puma 2-axis slant bed CNC Lathe with Fanuc 18-T Control)

    + Apply knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials and layout techniques.

    + Perform first article inspections and correct any discrepancies.

    + Perform advanced set-up and fixturing of jobs.

    + Utilizes tools and measuring instruments including, but not limited to saw, shear, grinder, calipers, micrometer, calculator, and various other hand tools.

    + Retrieve appropriate tools from tool crib to complete the job order.

    + Read blueprints and inspect completed parts and related documentation.

    + Refer to reference books or confer with engineers to resolve questions/issues.

    Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + **Minimum of 5 years of experience of CNC Lathe Set up and running machine.**

    + Ability to read, speak and understand English.

    + Strong communication and reading skills.

    + Ability to read schematics and blueprints.

    + Ability to lift/carry/push up to 20 lbs.

    Shifts Available:

    Shifts are available from **Monday – Friday, 5:30 am – 2:00 pm with some overtime.**

    **Pay Details:** $29.00 to $33.00 per hour
