We're seeking a dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team, where your leadership can make a significant impact on our community and beyond.
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Duties:
+ Lead and ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services in a safe, efficient manner.
+ Direct the center's Infection Control process and participate in the QA/CQI process.
+ Manage preadmission assessments, ensuring they are completed promptly.
+ Supervise, educate, and coach nursing and caregiving staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Responsibilities:
+ Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
+ Participate in state/federal nursing home survey processes, writing and implementing plans of correction as needed.
+ Develop and implement in-service and training programs to enhance staff skills.
+ Maintain clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Requirements:
+ On Call Hours within a weekly rotation.
+ Must hold a current Registered Nurse license.
+ Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
+ A minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting, preferably as an ADON.
+ Demonstrated leadership abilities and a customer service focus.
+ In-depth knowledge of nursing skills and the ability to understand the therapeutic effects and side effects of all medications administered.
