You will be reporting to a Quality Management team. This role is critical for ensuring effective governance, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to drive strategic program outcomes and support our priority business objectives related to Cost Per Repair (CPR). This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage key initiatives within the EVDD organization, directly impacting software and design efficiency.
What you'll do...
The Cost Per Repair Analyst is a pivotal role dedicated to leading and executing specific initiatives aimed at optimizing Cost Per Repair within the EVDD Organization. This individual will be instrumental in overseeing critical programs such as Replace vs. Repair policies, Directed Repair operationalization, Photo Prior Approval processes, and Dealer Performance Improvement. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive process refinement, establish robust governance, facilitate cross-functional coordination, and ensure the sustainability of key programs through effective project management and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
As our Cost Per Repair Analyst, you will be at the forefront of driving change and optimizing processes. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
+ **Replace vs. Repair Policy:** Oversee and monitor the progression of 3/36 rollback KPIs and quarterback the 1/12 rollback efforts, including comprehensive risk management.
+ **Directed Repair:** Lead the operationalization of governance for directed repair programs, including training and communication with all responsible stakeholders (Product Development, Warranty, FCSD) regarding governance structures, roles, and responsibilities.
+ **Workflow Automation:** Design and implement workflow automation solutions to streamline processes within CPR initiatives.
+ **Photo Prior Approval:** Serve as the quarterback for Engine Prior Approval processes, supporting Gemba walks and pilot programs.
+ **Dealer Performance Improvement:** Refine dealer performance processes based on pilot learnings and scale these processes for all Field Service Engineers (FSEs).
+ **Program Management Office (PMO):** Establish and lead a PMO structure to ensure program sustainability, including dashboard development and continuous improvement initiatives for dealer performance.
+ **Cross-Functional Coordination:** Facilitate coordination between multiple teams including FCSD, Hardware, EVVD, Quality, Warranty, and GDIA to ensure alignment on Cost Per Repair initiatives.
+ **Reporting & Trend Analysis:** Manage weekly reporting, working-level meetings, comprehensive Cost Per Repair trend analyses, and action tracking.
+ **Critical Initiatives:** Coordinate efforts with EVVD and support critical initiatives, including assisting with Gemba events, quantifying cost impacts, and developing offsetting mechanisms to mitigate negative impacts.
+ **Governance Framework:** Lead program-level cadences, workstream meetings, and working sessions, ensuring clear agendas and follow-ups for current and upcoming initiatives.
+ **Executive Reporting:** Own executive reporting content for weekly leadership reviews and monthly Senior Leadership Team meetings.
+ **Roles & Responsibilities:** Clarify and maintain defined roles and responsibilities across all involved skill teams for CPR programs.
+ **KPIs & Metrics:** Develop and track KPIs, scorecards, and success metrics to ensure program actions achieve intended business impact.
+ **Skills & Capabilities Development:** Create a high-level skills and capabilities framework that includes both hard and soft skills necessary for program success.
+ **Capability Gap Analysis:** Identify capability requirements aligned with the target state and conduct detailed skills assessments with plans to close gaps.
+ **2026 Pipeline Development:** Develop frameworks for opportunity analysis and pipeline forecasting for 2026 targets.
+ **Global / ESP Scaling Strategy:** Formulate a global scaling approach and framework for processes, skills, and analysis, and establish governance structures for scaling.

To excel in this role, you'll need a robust blend of program management expertise, analytical skills, and leadership capabilities:
+ Proven experience (e.g., 5+ years) in program management, preferably in automotive field service or parts recovery operations.
+ Strong knowledge of Problem Solving tools (both hard and soft skills).
+ Expertise in governance implementation and cross-functional stakeholder management.
+ Skilled in workflow automation design and process improvement.
+ Excellent communication skills with experience in training and change management.
+ Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
+ Analytical mindset to monitor KPIs, perform trend analysis, and prepare executive-level reports.
+ Familiarity with PMO structures and sustainable program development.
+ Competency in coordinating and facilitating Gemba events and pilot launches.
+ Skilled in developing skills frameworks and capability gap analyses.
+ A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

+ Experience in pipeline development, strategic planning, and global scaling initiatives.
+ Direct experience within Ford's FCSD or Warranty organizations.
+ Familiarity with Ford's internal quality systems and product development processes.
+ Certifications in Project Management (e.g., PMP), Lean, or Six Sigma.

This position is a range of salary grades 6, 7 and 8.
