• Senior Manager, Technical Delivery

    Deluxe (Atlanta, GA)


    The Senior Manager, Technical Delivery is responsible overseeing and executing the strategic vision, direction, performance, as well as career and skills development, of multiple, geographically diverse teams. This role is also responsible for working collaboratively to establish a healthy culture of collaboration, innovation and learning across all teams.

    Job Functions:

    + Enterprise level strategic planning and organization. Creation and support of cross-departmental best practices. Develop and maintain strategic relationships across the organization

    + Lead or support as requested by the leadership team. Identify opportunities to automate, increase efficiencies in testing, and/or improve quality. Responsible for driving quality assurance strategy to ensure delivery of high-quality test deliverables to internal and external customers, including test automation strategy.

    + Drives evaluation of emerging technologies and provides realistic insights into the integration of external technologies and platforms.

    + Lead and/or participate in Enterprise level Projects and Initiatives

    + Ensure engineering team deliverables are of highest possible code quality, are well tested, and meet the needs of the target consumer

    Basic Qualifications:

    Education and Experience: Bachelor’s and 5 years related experience and 3 years of Management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of related experience

     

    + Experience in software engineering, quality engineering, and/or DevOps

    + Experience working in an Agile software development methodology

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Education: Bachelors in Computer Science

    Experience: 5 years in software engineering

    + 3 years of experience recruiting, onboarding, and managing teams, and doing performance coaching

    + 3 years of experience coding in an object-oriented development language and managing code

    + Ability to expertly monitor software development, quality engineering, and DevOps industry trends, emerging technologies, and raise opportunities that will result in cost savings, increased revenue, and/or improved security or customer experience

    + Detail-oriented, excellent communication skills and ability to build teams and positively influence culture modernization of tech stack, coding standards, a cohesive test automation strategy, and availability of CI/CD pipeline

    + Highly organized, self-initiating, strong problem-solving skills

    + Strong understanding of test automation tools, coding tools, and continuous integration tools

    + Working knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL, and ability to create & execute queries

    + Working experience with Atlassian products including, but not limited to, Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket

    + Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, MS Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

    Compensation

    The compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
