Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Housekeeper.

As a Housekeeper at MercyOne, you will perform a variety of major and routine cleaning throughout the interior of the hospital complex.

+ Washes windows, walls, ceilings, light fixtures, cleans all horizontal and vertical surfaces.

+ Analyzes floor conditions, determines proper cleaning method to ensure proper appearance.

+ Operates vacuum.

+ Dry mops and wet mops and spot cleans any type of floor.

+ Coordinates all environmental services activity with the unit or department involved to minimize problems and ensure safety.

+ Performs special isolation cleaning according to established procedures as required.

+ Removes soiled linen from beds, washes beds, remakes beds with clean linen on patient room transfers and dismissals.

Schedule:

+ Days 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, rotating weekends and holidays.

General Requirements:

+ Previous janitorial and cleaning experience preferred.

+ Floor machine operation experience preferred.

Education:

+ Completion of high school or GED is preferred but not required.
