    How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

     

    Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for Portfolio Architects in Bloomington, Minnesota.

    Responsibilities include:

    + Own technical decisions and directions for assigned portfolio of architecture which includes App/Integration, DevSecOps, Site Reliability, Platform, and Security.

    + Design applications and platforms required to automate business processes and meet business needs as an integrated solution.

    + Assume overall technical responsibility for the success of cloud/non-cloud solution construction, implementation, and system integration.

    + Lead each phase of software application development to ensure a high level of quality for each assigned project.

    + Develop and define business and technical operating procedures and standards.

    + Identify application and business requirements by collaborating with technical teams and clients.

    + Recommend and drive new technologies towards implementation and exploitation.

    + Telecommuting permitted 2-3 days per week. 10-15%

    + 10 - 15% Domestic and international travel required.

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

    + A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, and 7 years’ experience in IT, architecture, or design and development. In the alternative, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, and 4 years’ experience in IT, architecture, or design and development.

    + Cloud environments including migration, containerization, and modernization;

    + Modernization of legacy systems;

    + System and technology integration;

    + DevOps, Security and Site Reliability;

    + Roadmap Architecture delivery including IT and business; and

    + Using AI in current applications and how these can be used to solve a business problem.

    Pay Range: $141898.00-$245100.00 annually
