Job Title: Paralegal

Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $55000 - $70000 annually

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday-Thursday, 8 am to 12:00 pm Friday

Job Duties:

+ Experience in civil litigation to assist in the handling of Property and Automobile subrogation claims and drafting of pleadings, motions and related work.

+ Candidate should possess confidence and communication skills needed to speak with adverse attorneys and claims adjusters and possess organizational and computer skills needed to maintain computerized diaries.

Job Requirements:

+ Prior experience drafting and filing pleadings

+ Knowledge of insurance subrogation (helpful, not required)

+ Strong computer skills including use of Microsoft Word, Case Management Software, Adobe and Outlook

+ Excellent organizational skills

+ Detail oriented and ability to multi-task

+ Sound judgment and decision-making skills

+ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels and ability to influence and achieve successful results

+ Strong verbal and writing skills

+ Strong work ethic, reliable, and team player
