THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Specialist to support our Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team. This role provides key operational, administrative, and project support to help HRBPs deliver strategic HR initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, handles sensitive information with discretion, and has a strong interest in building a career in Human Resources. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
+ Collaboration and Communication
+ Serve as the main point of contact for the HRBP team across departments.
+ Partner with leadership to support talent strategy and organizational development initiatives.
+ Develop credible and trusting relationships with senior leadership, managers, and employees.
+ Advise managers on their HR related inquiries.
+ Partner with specialized HR areas (Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, HRIS, etc.) to ensure any specific needs are being met with any tasks that may impact their areas.
+ May assist in answering inquiries regarding the company’s various benefit programs.
+ Draft and edit employee communications.
+ Employee Relations and Support
+ Exercise independent judgment in resolving employee inquiries and when to escalate complex issues appropriately.
+ Interpret policies and apply solutions tailored to unique business needs and inquiries.
+ Assist with documentation for employee relations cases, investigations, and performance improvement plans.
+ Administrative and Operational Support
+ Work with HRBPs, Compensation, HRIS, and HR Operations regarding the logistics of organizational changes, restructures, and onboarding/offboarding processes to ensure all data is captured, processed, and communicated accurately
+ Responsible for updating HR documentation, organizational charts, and internal communication materials. Partner with HR Employee Relations in updating HR policies and documentation.
+ Manage job requisitions.
+ May handle reclassification requests.
+ Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency and services.
+ Strengthen HRBP support through proactive communication and resource optimization- proactively partnering with HRBPs to anticipate needs and provide timely resources, templates, and reporting throughout the HR cycle, contributing to more strategic and seamless HRBP delivery.
+ Provide backup coverage to other members of the Human Resources team when necessary.
+ Assist HRBPs with day-to-day operations including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, tracking key HR metrics, and managing the requisition request process.
+ Data Management and Reporting
+ Compile, analyze, and make recommendations to the HRBP team on any potential problem areas based on the compiled HR data such as attrition, headcount, engagement, and performance trends.
+ Maintain data accuracy within HRIS and all HR data saved digitally.
+ Conduct audits and support compliance initiatives.
+ Ensure and maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations.
+ Project Coordination
+ Support the execution of cyclical HR initiatives and programs such as performance reviews, talent planning, talent calibration, and year-end/mid year reviews, goal planning and employee engagement efforts by improving data accuracy, tracking timelines, and ensuring on-time delivery of all HR deliverables.
+ Propose project initiatives to streamline internal HR procedures and collaborate with HR Project Management to implement.
+ Track project timelines and deliverables, follow up on action items, and manage cross-functional coordination.

+ Performs the position safely, without endangering the health or safety to themselves or others and will be expected to report potentially unsafe conditions. The employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations and orders issued pursuant to the OSHA Act of 1970, which are applicable to one’s own actions and conduct.
+ Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
+ Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field highly preferred
+ 3+ years of experience in a Human Resources role required; prior HRBP team support preferred.
+ Strong knowledge of HR operations, systems, and best practices.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (UKG, HRSoft, Monday.com)
+ Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
+ Discretion in handling confidential information.
+ Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
+ Contribute to building a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment through consistent communication and teamwork.
+ Detail-oriented and resourceful.
+ Must have worked in a banking environment in a previous role
+ Preferred
+ Experience supporting HRBPs in a matrixed or enterprise environment.
+ Familiarity with project management tools and techniques.
+ SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus.

SALARY RANGE
The full-time base salary range for this position is $68,000.00 - $85,000.00 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
