Harborview Medical Center’s First Episode Psychosis Program** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Mental Health Practitioner, First Episode Psychosis** **WORK SCHEDULE

+ This position is Temporary **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION**
The goals of the program, are to provide evidence-based treatment to individuals experiencing psychosis including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis (CBTp), Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), and Individual Resiliency Training (IRT)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provide evidence-based therapy to patients enrolled in services
+ Provide mental health case management and counseling/ therapy services for an assigned caseload of clients
+ As part of a multidisciplinary treatment teamwork with patients and their social networks to assist in their recovery from mental illness
+ Assess patient needs and determine interventions
+ Develop and implement patient care plans
+ Prepare information requested by outside agencies such as DSHS, Social Security Administration, and Seattle Housing Authority
+ Document patient contact in the medical record **REQUIREMENTS**
+ A Master’s Degree in behavioral sciences, such as psychology, psychiatric nursing, occupational therapy, vocational or educational counseling, or social work
+ OR Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or a behavioral science AND three years’ of experience in the direct delivery of professional mental health care
+ Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration **ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER**
