    We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MRO Buyer to join our Supply Chain team.

     

    This critical role is responsible for sourcing, ordering, receiving, and managing inventory of parts and supplies essential to our manufacturing operations. The MRO Buyer will work cross-functionally to ensure the timely availability of components that minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency. This position will report directly to our Director of Supply Chain working onsite out of New Berlin, WI.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Source and procure parts, raw materials, and supplies in line with production schedules.

    + Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules with vendors.

    + Identify and develop vendors for repair and maintenance services.

    + Support building and equipment maintenance in collaboration with the Facilities team.

    + Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in compliance with internal procedures.

    + Collaborate with the Director of Supply Chain and cross-functional leaders to align procurement strategies with company goals.

    + Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, and inventory records using ERP systems.

    + Assemble and deliver production kits to the manufacturing floor, ensuring quality and completeness.

    + Regularly review and adjust inventory min/max levels to meet production demands.

    + Conduct cycle counts and participate in physical inventory audits.

    + Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure part specifications and timelines are met.

    + Source technically specified parts to support maintenance and engineering.

    + Leverage RedZone or similar tools to track production performance and adjust procurement strategies.

    + Continuously improve purchasing, kitting, and inventory control processes.

    + Ensure compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and safety policies.

    + Provide support to other departments on open tasks and special projects.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Finance, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

    + 3–5 years of experience in MRO purchasing, inventory management, or parts coordination in a manufacturing environment.

    + Strong attention to detail with a high standard for accuracy and documentation.

    + Experience managing inventory min/max levels and using ERP systems.

    + Familiarity with RedZone or similar production analytics tools.

    + Ability to interpret technical documentation including BOMs and engineering drawings.

    + Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

    + Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
