    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    + Performs CT exams

    + Prepares equipment

    + Equipment and room maintenance after each procedure

    + Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained

    + Reviews the physician orders to verify the type of diagnostic test requested

    + Informs patient of diagnostic procedure being performed

    Qualifications

    Required Education and Experience

    + Education: High School Dioloma/GED required

    + Experience: No prior experience required

    Required Licensure and Certifications

    + Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (R) upon hire or transfer

    + Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (CT) within 9 months of hire or transfer

    + Certified by the state of Texas ‐ MRAD upon hire or transfer

    + BLS-CPR, 14 day grace period

    Preferred Education and Experience

    + Education: Associates Degree preferred.

    + Experience: One (1) year of experience as a radiographer or one (1) year of radiography clinical rotation experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

    CT Technologist - PRN

    Pay Range

    $26.38 - $38.26 /hour
