Summary
This position will be responsible for performing quality control checks and maintaining the quality control program at the hatchery facility.
Payrate: $19.57/hour
Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Perform process audits. These audits include, but are not limited to, Inovo vaccination, box counts, vaccine preparation, and poultry welfare.
+ Perform routine temperature checks on incubation equipment as directed by management.
+ Conduct routine moisture loss surveys, residue breakout analysis, and candling breakout as directed by management.
+ Conduct routine hatch timing analysis.
+ Monitor chemical use, facility bio-security and facility sanitation both visually and by plating, daily, weekly, and monthly.
+ Perform non-routine quality control checks as directed by management
Minimum Education
+ High school education or equivalent preferred.
+ Reading and writing skills required.
Experience Requirements
+ Minimum of 1-year hatchery experience required.

Reading and writing skills preferred.
Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements
+ Exposed to temperatures ranging from 60 to 105 degrees Fahrenheit and humdities up to 100%.
+ Exposed to chemicals, drugs and vaccines to be covered in MSDS training and hazardous communications.
+ Use personal protective equipment as required.
+ Ability to lift 20 lb. boxes and trays.
+ Must be able to bend and reach 5” from floor to 6’ in height.
+ Must be able to work in a wet, damp, dusty (chick down) environment.
