    Description

Amazon’s Country Parity, Expansion, and Integrations (CPE&I) team supports our network of Delivery Service Partners (DSPs) as they build and grow independent last mile delivery businesses across the Americas (Brazil, Canada, Mexico). The Senior Manager of CPE&I leads a team of program managers focused on driving parity among programs and expanding initiatives to improve the quality of our Americas DSP last mile delivery network across geographies. Specifically, the CPE&I team designs programs and builds scaleable processes to support DSPs in operating healthy, sustainable businesses.

As a Senior Manager of CPE&I, you will lead a team of program managers who each support specific countries and last mile programs, defining and executing a roadmap that improves delivery quality and DSP experience. You will play a key role in scaling and standardizing the DSP program across Canada, Brazil and Mexico. This role requires the ability both to think strategically and tactically, meaning you are not only able to develop and drive high-level product and program- based initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig into the details, and coordinate and influence an array of key stakeholders across the business to deliver strong programmatic results including helping drive financial, operational, and safety outcomes across the DSP network. Specifically, the Senior Manager will lead program managers in delivering regular business and senior leader reviews, and aligning teams on initiatives that improve delivery quality, speed, and cost. This is a highly visible role, meaning that the right candidate will be adept at building consensus across teams including Legal, Operations, Change Management, Pricing, Global Offer, Capacity Planning, Insurance, Fleet, Compliance, Safety and Performance, and Technology, among others, and be able to represent, verbally and in writing, complex decisions, trade-offs, and potential solutions clearly to senior leadership. A strong candidate will also be able to dive deep, identify root cause, and move between strategy and execution on a daily basis. In short, the successful candidate will have a proven track record of taking end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Manage the full lifecycle of a complex cross-functional program with accountability for DSP Quality goals across multiple geographies

    • Define and execute a parity roadmap that improves delivery quality, speed, cost, and the DSP experience. • Define strategy in ambiguous environments by translating complex business problems into clear, efficient solutions

    • Analyze complex business data, generate actionable insights, drive cross-functional solutions, build scaleable processes (mechanisms) and communicate the impact of critical business initiatives

    • Influence and negotiate priorities with other teams cross-functionally and across geographies

    • Communicate with senior management on status, risks and opportunities, and change management

    • Hire and develop a team of program managers

    • The role is based out of our SUB REGION office (five days per week), but this individual will travel regularly to countries to support program managers and DSPs in market (~5 days per month)
