The Financial Reporting Manager Tax will be responsible for accounting and review of tax documentation. The Financial Reporting Manager will be reviewing, auditing, and preparing documents such as Sales tax, 990, 990t, Pension, 403b and other IRS filings for the Albany Medical Health System.The Albany Medical Health System includes the following Campuses: Albany Medical Center, Saratoga Hospital, Columbia Memorial Hospital, and Glens falls Hospital.
+ Oversee and reporting all Sales Tax for all campuses
+ Pension reporting, accounting and auditing throughout the health system.
+ Prepare annual IRS and NYS Financial reporting for the following; 990, 990T, CT13, CHAR500, 5500.
+ Coordinate annual IRS and NYS Financial reporting for the following; 990, 990T, CT13, CHAR500, 5500) for other campuses and VNA
+ Annually Prepare 1098T reports
+ Annual IRS 1098T reporting
+ Payroll IRS and NYS reporting forms include the following 940/941 and IA5
+ Tax Exempt Contract Compliance review
Minimum Qualifications
+ Obtain CPA prior to employment
+ Graduate Degree is preferred
+ Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration is required
Preferred qualifications
+ 3-5 years of experience with filing the following forms 990, 990T, CT13, Char500, 5500.
+ 5-7 years of experience with Public Accounting, Tax auditing and preparation
+ Has experience in reporting and auditing the following Sales tax, 990, 990t, Pension, 403b and other IRS filings.
