Overview
The SVP, Media Investment leads the media investment team for a large telecommunications client. This person is responsible for the development and communication (both internally and externally) of the agency’s point-of-view in digital, linear video, and OOH media. They are a recognized thought leader and a conceptual problem solver who inspires our clients and the internal team. It will be essential that this person also brings strong relationships with the vendor community.
The SVP additionally works with the Client Service, Delivery, and Business Development community to develop media solutions that support and grow ongoing relationships. They play a prominent role in the relationships with key senior client partners and can be seen as the Client Lead in certain relationships. This individual also connects Groupe leads across our network, exchanging ideas and honing a collaborative problem-solving approach, while managing and developing their team members.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the implementation of digital media, linear video, and OOH, working with the team toward cross-channel efficiencies and best practices
+ Help build and drive platform and channel strategy
+ Play a role in dynamic creative optimization strategy and brand safety efforts
+ Responsible for senior media personnel plus key regional team members
+ Maintain executive publisher and vendor relationships
+ Provide thought leadership including industry and media interviews, speaking at events, blogging, and/or POVs
+ Responsible for some of the operational aspects of the media practice (Promotions, Merit, Staffing, etc.)
+ Assist Client Service, Delivery, and more junior media leaders in determining optimal levels of staffing and utilization based on agreed-upon priorities
+ Define strategic objectives and strategies to influence consumer behavior and drive business outcomes for our clients
+ Demonstrate practical knowledge of integrated media channel planning, plus an ever-evolving combination of upper-funnel branding and direct-to-consumer performance media
+ Provide strategic thought leadership and a strong POV on how media fits within a connected marketing world through a strong partnership with data and analytics, as well as ancillary touchpoints with account, technology, strategy, and creative teams as needed to move the business forward
+ Assume the lead role on the core client team to identify issues, develop the internal team’s skills, and identify and nurture new organic growth opportunities
+ Act as a true embedded partner with the client team on their media transformation journey; we are an extension of their team, and they of ours
+ Act as the steward of the business from an operational and financial aspect; business planning, revenue, and margin stewardship; scoping, staffing, and financial/commercial models
Qualifications
+ B.A. or B.S., preferably in Marketing, Advertising, or related field
+ 15+ years of experience in digital, linear video, and OOH media
+ 10+ years working in activation roles
+ 6+ years of prior staff management experience
+ Strong relationships with the vendor community
+ Proven ability to lead, provide strategy/vision, and implement/execute leadership
+ Demonstrated experience leading major client businesses which resulted in client growth and satisfaction

The benefits offerings listed are available to eligible U.S. Based employees, are reviewed on an annual basis, and are governed by the terms of the applicable plan documents.
Compensation Range: $176,700 - $288,765 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
