    Shift: 1st shift, Monday through Friday

     

    Pay: $110,000 - $138,000, dependent on experience

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a dynamic Quality Manager to lead our global Quality Management System (QMS), drive cross-site continuous improvement initiatives, and promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

     

    This role directly supervises the Supplier Quality Engineer, Quality Control Inspector teams in St. Louis, MO and Austin, TX, and provides organizational support and guidance to our Quality Supervisor in Chennai, India. The Quality Manager acts as the primary customer-facing quality leader and reports directly to senior leadership.

     

    This is a strategic role with high visibility, broad influence, and cross-functional responsibility.

    Key Responsibilities

    Team Leadership & Oversight

     

    + Supervise the Supplier Quality Engineer and Quality Control Inspector teams in the U.S.

    + Provide support and organizational guidance to the Quality Supervisor at our Chennai, India facility.

    + Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development across all quality functions.

    + Standardize QMS practices across locations to ensure consistency and alignment.

    + Support hiring, training, performance reviews, and succession planning within the quality organization.

    Quality Management:

    + Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of ISO9001-compliant QMS policies and procedures

    + Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and the Supplier Quality Engineer to drive root cause analysis and corrective action plans

    + Act as the voice of the customer in resolving quality issues and communicating quality requirements across departments

    + Oversee internal audits and serve as management representative for QMS performance

    Health, Safety, & Compliance:

    + Partner with Human Resources and Production Leadership to develop, implement, review and update policies and initiatives to establish health and safety as a company culture.

    + Conduct training presentations for health, safety, and accident prevention compliance.

    + Monitor compliance with all policies and applicable federal, state, and local health and safety laws through routine inspections.

    + Investigate and analyze root causes of on-the-job accidents/incidents and collaborate with HR and manufacturing leaders on worker compensation processes.

    + Conduct internal investigations of compliance issues.

    + Assess product, compliance, or operational risks and develop risk management strategies.

    + Develop and implement environmental compliance plans for key initiatives.

    + Conduct environmental audits to ensure adherence to standards.

    + Review, modify, and develop policies or guidelines to ensure compliance with changing regulations.

    Additional Responsibilities:

    + Verify that all company and regulatory policies and procedures are documented, implemented, and communicated to stakeholders.

    + File manufacturing and environmental compliance reports with regulatory agencies.

    + Maintain documentation of compliance activities, including complaints and resolutions.

    + Assist internal and external auditors during compliance reviews.

    + Prepare compliance operations progress/status reports for leadership.

    + Monitor compliance systems to ensure effectiveness.

    + Up to 10% of travel

    Qualifications

    Required:

    + Bachelor's degree required

    + 5+ years of experience in Quality Management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

    + ASQ Certified, Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification required

    + Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement

    + Strong understanding of current regulations affecting manufacturing companies

    + Strong Microsoft Office software skills required

    Preferred:

    + Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) certification preferred

    + ISO9001 lead auditor experience preferred

    + Familiarity with ISO14001 preferred
