    Sanitation Technician (2nd shift) - Topeka, Kansas

    This is an hourly position.

    Position Summary:

    The role of the Sanitation Technician is responsible for the following duties:

    + Perform, evaluate and prioritize daily, weekly and monthly sanitation / housekeeping duties.

    + Maintain Master Sanitation Schedules.

    + Communicate with other employees to schedule the cleaning of equipment and production areas between runs.

    + Responsibility to identify and communicate food safety and/or product integrity issues to appropriate personnel.

    + Work in the most effective, efficient and safe manner at all times.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    + Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values.

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + Mechanically inclined and capable of using common hand tools.

    + Ability to operate a forklift in a safe manner.

    + Capability of lifting 50 pounds above head without difficulty.

    Training Required

    + Annual Training

    + On-the-Job Training

    + Safety Training

    + Chemical Handling and Usage Training

    Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

     

    If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
