    Position Summary: The Agile Coach provides coaching on lean and agile frameworks and the application of practices across technical, and organizational systems. In addition, the Agile Coach uses advanced facilitation skills, mentors, and teaches agile principles and methodologies.

     

    This is a contingent position based upon contract award

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Team coaching: Coach teams transforming from Waterfall to Agile.

    + Dysfunction Resolution: Identify dysfunction and offer solutions/strategies.

    + Implement Agile: Meet teams where they are, we do not implement textbook agile.

    + Team Support: Ask questions, understand the work, learn the overall lifecycle from intake to deployment.

    + Evaluation: Evaluate key agile practices and potential application in the NPES environment (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, SAFe, etc.).

    + Feedback Capture: Capture feedback and continuously improve enterprise agile practices.

    + Act as Scrum Master: Act as a Scrum Master for a designated development team, as needed.

    Work Environment:

    + Location: On-site

    + Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%

    + Working Hours: Standard

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + Clearance: Active TS with SCI eligible

    + Education: Bachelor’s degree

    + Technical Experience: 5+ years relevant professional experience

    + Agility Training Experience: 2+ years working in an agility training/coaching role.

    + Certifications: Agile Certifications such as a CSM (Scrum Master) or ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner).

    + Agile Transformation Skills: Experience with Agile Transformations and supporting an organization moving from Waterfall to Agile.

    + Project Management Tool Understanding: Experience using Jira

    + Application Suite Knowledge: Experience with Cameo

    Desired:

    + Software Development Framework Experience: Experience utilizing DevSecOps

    + Agile Transformation Skills: Previous experience with agile transformations from traditional development processes to agile practices, a plus

    + Main Customer Contact: May be the primary customer contact for assigned area of responsibility
