• Head Maintenance Worker

    Arlington Central School District is currently recruiting for a full-time Head Maintenance Worker with full benefits. This is an important maintenance position involving leadership and participation in the efficient performance of skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the operation, maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment and other systems. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Director of School Facilities and Operations or other administrative staff.

     

    This is a supervisory position which would be exercised over several maintenance employees. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and who takes pride in their work and performance.

    Job Qualifications

    Minimum qualifications:

    + Four years of work experience as a journeyman in a skilled trade, such as plumbing, steam-fitting, electrical or carpentry; OR:

    + Six years of work experience in either general building construction or in building maintenance work; OR:

    + An equivalent combination of training and experience sufficient to indicate ability to perform the duties of the position.
