Description

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to oversee complex IT projects focused on enhancing portal systems. This role is pivotal in unifying multiple customer-facing platforms into a streamlined solution for scheduling, billing, and other results. As this is a long-term contract position with a chance convert. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to project leadership and ensure seamless collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration of multiple systems into a single, unified platform.

• Manage project risks by proactively identifying challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.

• Facilitate daily team meetings to monitor progress and address potential roadblocks.

• Communicate project updates and milestones to stakeholders and executive sponsors.

• Drive collaboration across departments such as operations, sales, and HR to ensure alignment with project goals.

• Oversee the preparation and execution of key deliverables, including demos and final project delivery.

• Utilize Agile Scrum methodologies to maintain efficiency and adaptability in project execution.

• Leverage tools like Atlassian Jira and Confluence to track progress and document project details.

• Ensure compliance with project timelines and budgets while maintaining high-quality outcomes.

Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-level initiatives.

• PMP Certification is required to demonstrate expertise in project management principles.

• Strong understanding and application of Agile Scrum methodologies.

• Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and team collaboration.

• Ability to navigate complex, multi-departmental projects involving operations, sales, and HR.
