Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
+ 13 years of experience in data analytics, cyber-security, program management, AI red teaming or testing, technology research, anti-abuse, policy or related fields.
+ 2 years of experience in people management or as a team lead.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's degree or PhD in relevant field.
+ 2 years of people management experience.
+ Experience with adversarial testing of Generative Artificial Intelligence products.
+ Experience with AI, Large Language Models, Trust and Safety, or cyber-security.
+ Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail in an fluid environment.
Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you are a big-picture thinker and a team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed - with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
As a Manager for the Content Adversarial Red Team (CART), you will lead the US team responsible for conducting adversarial red teaming to uncover ‘unknown unknowns’ and new/unexpected loss patterns on Google’s premier generative AI products.
In this role, you will be exposed to graphic, controversial, or upsetting content. You may be asked to work non-standard hours as needed to support escalations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $206,000-$289,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Develop repeatable processes that improves CART's program and generates testing insights.
+ Review CART’s analytic products to ensure testing results are beneficial for product teams.
+ Interface with leads and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure needs are met.
+ Build a program that delivers excellent red team results, execute CART's priorities and overall coordination for the team.
