    Academic Program Specialist

     

    The Academic Program Specialist I enhances residents’ learning environment and provides a wide variety of high level of technical, educational and administrative support to the Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program. This position is the central contact for coordination of faculty assignments and surgical scheduling information.

     

    Schedule: 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday - Friday

     

    Department: New Hanover Regional Medical Center - Women's and Children's hospital

    Qualifications

    + Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. High school graduate with 4 years related experience in the areas of Education, Business, or other healthcare related field; required.

    + Experience: Four years of experience in Graduate Medical Education and/or employment in healthcare field, Preferred .

    + Licensure/Certification: Notary Public, preferred.

    + Additional Skills Required:

    + Must have ability to communicate effectively with physicians and other program personnel in high volume environment.

    + Microsoft Office.

    + Additional Skills Preferred: New Innovations, Perfect Serve, MiTeam.
