    Join a team of dedicated professionals at the Cumberland County Children's Advocacy Center (CCCAC), who serve youth who may have been exploited or trafficked. When sexual exploitation is suspected, the CCCAC Coordinator for suspected cases of trafficking, will assemble a team including mental health providers, victim advocates, school administrators, medical providers and natural supports such as family members or community leaders to triage the youths needs and make a safety plan. Key activities include training, outreach and collaboration with partners such as law enforcement, district attorneys and child protective services. Ideal candidates will bring a willingness to collaborate and work as part of a caring team. This position allows for creativity, flexibility, and autonomy. Minimal documentation is required.

    Duties:

    + Serve as a primary CAC contact for referrals of suspected commercial sexual exploitation and child trafficking.

    + Review case to determine appropriate timeframe for MDT response.

    + Facilitate the teams process including assisting the team to organize, sequence and prioritize activities and service provision.

    + Advocate for and serve as a liaison between family, social service and youth advocacy agencies.

    + Provide outreach and training about the coordinated response to exploited youth to MDT partners.

    + Participate in training and ongoing supervision.

    + Maintain data and case tracking.

    + Other duties as assigned by the CCCAC director or Program Coordinator.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    A Bachelor's degree is required, Masters level is preferred with degree in Human services related field, psychology, social work, education or criminal justice. Must have professional experience working with youth and knowledge of child welfare and juvenile systems. Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams, facilitation and systems. Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with effective written and oral communication.
