Description We are looking for an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our organization's digital assets and ensuring the integrity of our IT infrastructure. Your expertise in advanced security technologies will play a pivotal role in protecting sensitive data and mitigating risks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and configure firewalls, including Checkpoint and Cisco ASA, to ensure robust network security.

• Implement and maintain security measures for cloud environments using AWS technologies.

• Conduct regular audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.

• Oversee the deployment and configuration of Cisco technologies for optimized network protection.

• Perform AB testing to evaluate the effectiveness of security protocols.

• Monitor and analyze security systems to detect and respond to potential threats.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configuration management and security processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement cybersecurity strategies.

• Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices in IT security. Requirements • Proven experience with Checkpoint and Cisco ASA firewalls.

• Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies and their application in cybersecurity.

• Familiarity with cloud security solutions, particularly AWS technologies.

• Hands-on experience with firewall technologies and configuration management.

• Ability to conduct detailed audits and vulnerability assessments.

• Expertise in cyber security best practices and threat mitigation.

• Proficiency in AB testing and security protocol evaluation.
