The Sales & Operations Planning Analyst serves as a key cross-functional liaison, collaborating closely with the Sales Team, Customer Service, Product Engineering, Supply Chain, and Accounting to support both sales execution and program management. This role demands strong analytical acumen, comfort working with large data sets, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet critical deadlines.
This is a fully on-site position and may require occasional domestic travel.
Principle Responsibilities
+ Report to the Director of Supply Chain, collaborating across teams to support program launches and project coordination.
+ Assist in the development of POS collection and analysis of sales demand for use in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
+ Manage the margin analysis process for reviewing and qualifying new customers and changes with existing ones, and obtaining necessary approvals.
+ Support Customer Service and Sales by coordinating sample fulfillment, resolving shipping issues, and aiding corporate marketing efforts. Assist with and execute ad hoc special projects for sales and program management.
+ Analyze sales trends and collaborate with the Supply Chain to enhance OTIF performance.
+ Maintain product data in SAP and partner with Program Engineering on part number management.
+ Conduct margin analysis to inform profitability decisions and perform market research to assess new opportunities.
+ Collaborate with Marketing on sales materials and monitor customer returns and warranty claims, ensuring accurate reporting and Program Management.
+ Monitor and analyze market pricing, adjusting as needed to remain competitive.
+ Maintain customer comparison templates and oversee customer portals, collect point-of-sale (POS) and forecast data for sales and operations planning (S&OP).
+ Streamline communication between sales, supply chain, engineering, quality, finance, and plant locations to support operational needs.
+ Collaborate with Marketing on sales materials and monitor customer returns and warranty claims, ensuring accurate reporting and Program Management.
+ Ensure consistent reporting from the sales team, including customer profiles, business plans, and monthly reports.
+ Conduct monthly pipeline and forecast reviews with the sales team to monitor growth opportunities and ensure accuracy in production planning.

Education/Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering
+ 2+ Years of experience in Sales Management, Customer Service, or Supply Chain
+ Experience with Microsoft Office, with a concentration on Excel
+ Experience in the automotive industry is a plus
+ SAP experience is a plus
Compensation Range: $80,000 -$$95,000
