    The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

    Job Overview:

    The Social Worker LCSW provides direct clinical services in our behavioral health adult outpatient program, including clinical assessments, psychological testing, psychiatric evaluation, medication management and a variety of psychotherapy groups to adults with Serious Mental Illness SMI, including those with a co-occurring substance-use diagnosis in our Adult Outpatient department.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + Master's Degree in Social Work

    Preferred:

    + Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing

    Certifications and Licenses Required:

    + Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NJ (LCSW)

    Scheduling Requirements:

    + Per Diem (PD)

    Essential Functions:

    + Obtains appropriate release of information

    + Designs and implements treatment plans, including individual, group, and/or family psychotherapy, and evaluates and documents patient outcomes according to department policy and procedure

    + Maintains up-to-date and complete records of patient information according to established standards

    + Assists in reviewing and updating treatment and discharge plans

    + Collaborates with other hospital programs and community agencies with which patients and families are involved

    + Assesses patients' needs through clinical interview, chart/history review and through use of standardized instruments
