St. Catherine is located in the heart of Long Island, Smithtown. The Long Term care facility is a 240 bed facility. Job Details Developes standards of care which reflect current theroretical knowledge in therapeutic recreation practice. Able to develop and implement well rounded programs that address and meet the needs of varying functional levels within the geriatric population. Performs therapeutic recreation assessments on geriatric short-term patients and long-term residents. Documents assessment, care plan, interventional approaches and evaluations on appropriate medical records. MDS knowledge preferred. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or related field required. CTRS Certification required. Nursing Home/Long Term Care experience preferred. Salary Range USD $29.27 - USD $29.27 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
