As a Technical Application Specialist III, based in Los Angeles, you will play a crucial role in making a positive global impact. With your HLA expertise, you will provide world-class support to the transplant community, helping to drive flawless solutions for some of the toughest challenges in healthcare.

     

    How will you make an impact?

     

    Your in-depth technical knowledge and skills will enable you to support customers, channel partners, and sales teams by resolving product performance issues through laboratory investigation, data analysis, and interpretation. You will be instrumental in ensuring our products perform optimally, supporting our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    + Resolve customer product performance inquiries through detailed data analysis and interpretation.

    + Analyze and replicate end-user laboratory conditions to identify and isolate factors causing product performance issues.

    + Independently conduct tests and experiments to validate proposed solutions.

    + Communicate technical recommendations to end-users effectively.

    + Perform regular troubleshooting to maintain and improve technical skills and knowledge.

    + Prepare and present comprehensive reports and formal presentations regarding activities and results.

    + Participate as an instructor for both in-house and external workshops.

    + Maintain professional relationships with development teams and provide technical findings to support continuous quality improvement programs.

    + Travel domestically and internationally as needed for workshops or conferences.

    How will you get here

    + Bachelor of Science Degree in Biological Sciences.

    + Minimum of 3+ years of HLA experience.

    + Specific knowledge of basic immunology and molecular biology.

    + Practical bench experience in HLA Typing by NGS, SBT, SSP, SSO, and HLA Antibody Screening.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    + Maintain confidentiality of critical laboratory data and business information.

    + Ensure safe laboratory procedures and protocols, especially in handling blood and blood byproducts.

    + Exercise independent discretion and judgment in completing tasks.

    + Plan and coordinate tasks reliably and consistently.

    + Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with management, staff, customers, and vendors.

    + Work in a laboratory setting with human blood and/or tissue products.

    + Engage in extended phone discussions with customers and channel partners.

    Compensation and Benefits

     

    The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $83,300.00–$95,000.00.

     

    This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
