    Your main tasks and responsibilities:

    + Determine customer safety requirements and verify compliance throughout the project.

    + Maintain accurate and professional daily reports and time sheets

    + Manage all aspects of a field project with limited supervision

    + Develop and nurture a close relationship with plant personnel to ensure Sulzer is first choice for service.

    + Prepare detailed parts lists before, during, and after an outage and coordinate with the home office, any ordering of parts.

    + Develop schedules for planned outages such as daily maintenance, major maintenance, preventative maintenance, and overhauls.

    + Respond to unplanned outages and all client needs promptly and professionally.

    + Develop and maintain tools and procedures implemented within the Field Service Division

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    + Strong understanding of reciprocating compressor components, operations, and maintenance work scopes, including repair scopes and applicable standards.

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with personnel from diverse backgrounds at all levels of the organization

    + Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn technical and design aspects for Reciprocating Equipment services and repairs

    + High school diploma or equivalent. Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Project

    + Valid State Issued Drivers License

    + Experienced in shaft and bore alignments. Experienced in troubleshooting the operation of reciprocating equipment.
