    6-Month Contract Opportunity | Hybrid Work Environment

     

    We are seeking a Digital Communications Specialist to join our Marketing Team on a temporary 6-month contract. In this role, you’ll help cover responsibilities during employee leaves by driving content creation, managing digital channels, and supporting internal presentation needs.

    What You'll Do

     

    + Create compelling digital content—including text, images, and video—to drive engagement and increase awareness of the GFS brand, products, and services

    + Design and publish social media posts with SEO optimization in mind

    + Build, update, and maintain web pages on the GFS website and distributor portal, ensuring speed and accuracy

    + Conduct online audits of GFS websites and collaborate with the Research Analyst to implement improvements for better user experience and accessibility

    + Support digital budget tracking alongside the Marketing Manager

    + Ensure timely and accurate delivery of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks

     

    What You Bring

     

    + Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in general or digital marketing

    + Strong grasp of marketing workflows, tools, and best practices

    + Proven ability to manage projects independently and collaborate across teams

    + Advanced written and verbal communication skills; familiarity with AP Style preferred

    + Proficiency with WordPress, including plug-ins and functionality

    + Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Microsoft Office, and related tools

    + Deep understanding of paid and organic social media strategy and execution
