Job Summary

Lead all aspects of dining operations for Pomfret School in Pomfret, CT. This outstanding opportunity allows you to craft the dining experience for students in grades 9–12 and postgraduates, with a total enrollment of around 350 students.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Maintain excellent relationships with customers, guests, and clients, as well as other departments

+ Collaborate with the Chef and management team to build menus and provide top-quality food

+ Coordinate all P&L and budgeting aspects related to the account

+ Efficiently implement new culinary programs

+ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

+ Train and mentor dining staff to deliver extraordinary service

+ Coordinate inventory management and procurement processes

+ Develop and complete high-reaching dining strategies to improve student happiness

Preferred Qualifications:

+ BS or equivalent experience in Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred

+ Three to five years of confirmed foodservice operation experience

+ High volume production and catering experience is crucial

+ Previous experience leading a budget

+ Strong desire to learn and grow within an outstanding foodservice company

+ Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills

+ Ability to compete in a multifaceted environment and determine priorities effectively
