Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Wire Saw and Sand Operator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

+ Operate a large sander and CNC wire saw to cut and produce a variety of media sectors based on our production schedule.

+ Verify that all media is within spec based on blueprints and perform quality check before moving material to the next process.

+ Maintain area, equipment and tools in neat, orderly condition

+ Report any problems, difficulties, or unusual circumstances immediately to the supervisor

+ Observe all company policies, rules and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and security.

+ Perform safety inspection on cranes at start of shift

+ Perform other duties as assigned or directed

Requirements:

+ Must be able to read and understand prints.

+ Ability to use calipers and other measuring devices

+ Some Computer Skills required

+ Strong Communications/Interpersonal Skills

+ Self-Motivated and Driven

+ Detail Oriented

+ Following verbal and written work instructions.

+ Willingness to cross-train in other areas within the wheel plant
