Required Skills:

Software Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for user interfaces, infrastructure, and/or tools supporting applications on Android using the Android SDK.

2. Lead complex technical or product efforts to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.

3. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers.

4. Work closely with product and design teams to build new and innovative application experiences for Android.

5. Work on problems of diverse scope and implement custom native user interfaces using the latest Android programming techniques.

6. Receiving little instruction on day-today work, build reusable Android software components for interfacing with back-end platforms.

7. Analyze and optimize UI and infrastructure application code for quality, efficiency, and performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

8. Requires a Bachelor's degree* or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.

10. Requires 60 months of experience in each of the following:

11. 1. ActionScript, Haxe, Kotlin, and Python

12. 2. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM and Android Studio)

13. 3. Revision control systems (GIT)

14. 4. Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS as evidenced by file manipulation, advanced commands, and shell scripting

15. 5. Data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human-computer interaction

16. 6. Applying algorithms and core computer science concepts to real-world systems as evidenced by recognizing and matching patterns from different areas of computer science in production systems

17. 7. Editors (Andriod Studio, and Visual Studio) and

18. 8. Gradle.

$272,841/year to $290,180/year + bonus + equity + benefits
