    Job Overview:

    Under the direction of the Manager, the driver is responsible for transporting, counseling and transporting staff to and from various locations in Hudson County.

    Qualifications:

    Required:

    + High school diploma

    + Must possess and maintain a valid NJ State Driver s License.

    + General knowledge of auto mechanics is preferred with the ability to operate a Winnebago-type vehicle safely.

    + Must be willing to work flexible hours and days.

    + Must be willing to travel into the community of Hudson County.

    Preferred:

    + College degree

    Scheduling Requirements

    + Day 7:00am 3:00pm

    + Status: Per Diem (Based on need of the department

    Essential Functions:

    + Responsible for transporting Counseling and Testing staff to and from various locations in Hudson County.

    + Responsible for scheduling and maintenance as needed.

    + Responsible for keeping the van clean.

    + Responsible for keeping daily mobile van logs.

    + Attends bi-weekly multidisciplinary staff meetings.

    + Assists with coordinating van repairs.

    + Responsible for completing daily mobile van cleaning.

    + Maintain safe environment during all outreach events.

    + Maintains communication with all agencies for parking purposes.

    + Complies with unit and departmental scheduling guidelines.

    + Responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments, ie, damaged floors, walls, ceiling tiles, unsecured areas in mobile van.

    + Performs other duties as assigned.
