Description

We are in the process of recruiting a Plant Controller for our client in East Texas. The selected candidate will be instrumental in handling the plant's financial matters and utilizing their skills in Sage 100.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the plant operations.

• Utilize Sage 100 software for various financial tasks and processes.

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives.

• Prepare and present financial reports and metrics to management.

• Monitor and analyze plant performance and expenditures.

• Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets and financial plans.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.

• Implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.

• Identify areas of financial performance improvement.

• Lead and manage the financial team at the plant.

Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably as a Plant Controller or similar role.

• Proficient in using Sage 100 software for accounting and financial tasks.

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Excellent skills in data analysis and interpretation.

• Ability to develop effective strategies for financial operations and budgeting.

• Exceptional leadership abilities, capable of managing and directing the work of accounting staff.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for producing reports and liaising with company management.

• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Proven track record of implementing cost-saving measures and improving efficiency.

• Flexibility to adapt to changes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
